M. Kevin Garrison

Mr. Garrison is an associate in the firm's Columbia office. Mr. Garrison was born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1971 and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  In 1993, he graduated cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management.  He attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1999.  While at USC, Mr. Garrison was a member of the Moot Court Bar and the recipient of the CALI Award for Real Estate Transactions II.  He is currently a member of Richland County Bar and the South Carolina Bar where he serves on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.

Mr. Garrison's practice include commercial and residential real estate, foreclosure, corporate law, banking law and commercial law.  He has advised and counseled financial institutions on regulatory matters involving RESPA, Truth-In-Lending, OTS, FDIC, OCC, Article 9 of the UCC, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Privacy Act, and South Carolina Law.  He has performed and managed all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions including, but not limited to, performing title examinations, conducting real estate closings and preparing title insurance policies and title opinions.  He is currently an approved attorney for Investors Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.
