Prior to his legal studies, Pascal Lauzon completed a bachelor's degree in pure science with a minor in physics, which naturally brought him to practice intellectual property and patent law. Pascal practised for a few years in a Canadian intellectual property boutique firm before joining BCF in March 2002.
Pascal now practises various aspects of intellectual property law, namely trade-marks, patents, copyright, industrial designs, and trade secrets. His practice generally involves preparing legal opinions and litigation, either before the courts of law or before administrative tribunals such as the Trade-mark Opposition Board. Pascal also lends his support to more general litigation files and to intellectual property aspects of large-scale financing deals.
Intellectual property law affects all industries in this information age. Pascal, who has a versatile personality and many different interests, is well-equipped to provide the legal advice and representation required by clients from a wide variety of industries. |
