Bar Admission Bernard Tremblay has twenty years' experience in litigation and acts as legal advisor to a number of companies. He has been involved in many cultural organizations as a board director and governor, including Fondation Travail sans Frontières. For the past few years, he has been a board member of a well-established real-estate company. He taught at the Law Faculty of Université Laval after many years of teaching at the École de formation professionnelle du Barreau du Québec. He has lectured and presented seminars and discussions for professional associations such as the Canadian Bar Association. He also presented a thesis on a bill to the standing committee of Ministère de l'Industrie et de la Commerce for the House of Commons. Since joining BCF when it opened its Quebec City office in 2001, Mr. Tremblay has been involved in the arbitration of commercial and construction litigation, litigation among shareholders and infringement in intellectual property. He has also acted as advisor in business reorganizations and acquisitions, as he recently did for a leading corporation in the services sector in Quebec City. |
