Details:
Patricia graduated from Warwick University in 1985 with an LLB Hons before attending Bar School. She was called to the Bar in 1986 and did 12 months pupillage in the Chambers of Michael Beckman QC in Lincolns Inn where she worked primarily in family law but also in personal injury and crime. She took tenancy in Chambers in Grays Inn specialising in family and with a little personal injury and went into private practice in 1992, since when she has only practised family law. Patricia has experience in most, if not all, aspects of family law and has particular interest, preference and aptitude in high asset divorces. Whilst at the Bar Patricia was a reporter for Family Law Journal and Reports. An experienced advocate, she deals with preliminary court appointments to trials, at all court levels. She is able to combine her skills from her qualification, training and practice as a Barrister at the Bar: advocacy and tactical approaches to written and oral evidence, with the skills and experience she has acquired as a Barrister employed in a law firm: preparing cases for trial, conducting negotiations, and dealing generally with all issues as they arise during the course of what can be complex and highly contentious proceedings with international aspects. Her professional career has been exclusively matrimonial law and primarily high asset complex financial proceedings and children proceedings. Patricia enjoys socialising with a close network of friends and is a regular member of her gym. She is an avid reader, which is one way of occupying the journey to and from work. Patricia was born in Hong Kong and loves travelling. She frequently visits relatives and friends abroad in Italy, America and Hong Kong. |
