Padraig P. Flanagan, an associate with the firm, practices in the firm's litigation department with an emphasis on intellectual property and labor & employment matters.   

Pat has litigated both patent and copyright infringement disputes involving consumer products, technological services and medical equipment devices, including license agreement disputes.

Pat has represented management in opposing union organizing activities and defended management against charges of unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board.  Pat has also represented management in defending against former employees' claims of age discrimination, national origin and religious discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation.  In addition, Pat has represented employers seeking to enforce employment and non-compete agreements.

Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Pat clerked for the Honorable John E. Keefe, Appellate Division, New Jersey Superior Court.  He also completed externships with the U.S. Attorney's Office, Governor's Counsel's Office, and the Honorable Thomas F. Shebell, Jr., Presiding Judge, Appellate Division, New Jersey Superior Court.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Pat held several senior positions in banking and finance.
