Mr. Hennessy is an Officer in the Litigation and Labor Practice Group. He represents clients in the areas of complex litigation, labor and employment litigation and counseling, construction litigation and personal injury defense litigation. His experience includes representation of large corporations as lead counsel in complex litigation including product liability lawsuits, class actions and land use disputes. He has handled construction claims on behalf of contractors both in court and arbitration. In addition, Mr. Hennessy has been lead counsel on numerous appeals to the Appellate Court of Illinois and to the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He has represented clients in employment matters before state and federal agencies including the National Labor Relations Board, Illinois State Labor Relations Board, Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Illinois Department of Human Rights. Mr. Hennessy is a retired Colonel in the Air Force Reserve. He has taught at the Air Force Judge Advocate General School on a wide range of subjects including the reemployment rights of members of the Reserves and National Guard, electronic document management and discovery and trial advocacy. Additionally, he was an advisor to the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps on the development and implementation of Information Technology policy, including the development and implementation of Information Technology training programs for Air Force lawyers and paralegals.
