Gerald L. Hilsher is a graduate from the University of Texas School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in both Oklahoma and Texas. He was formerly an Assistant U.S. Attorney in charge of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (1982-85) and a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Law Enforcement for the U.S. Treasury (1987-89). His private practice has emphasized trial and appellate work, primarily in complex commercial litigation, business torts, product liability, personal injury, employment law, environmental law, and selective white-collar criminal defense. He has a wide breadth of litigation, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, large companies and small, and individuals as clients. Although he enjoys the battle in the courtroom, he also recognizes the cost of modern day litigation and has encouraged the use of alternative dispute resolution in appropriate cases. He has also served as a Judge of the Temporary Court of Civil Appeals.
