Lawrence Clancy

Lawrence Clancy is a shareholder with Cook & Franke. He practices in the areas of business law, banking and finance, general corporate, real estate and bankruptcy. Mr. Clancy has served as counsel to banks and other lending institutions in connection with major loan transactions and workouts and the enforcement of creditors remedies in bankruptcy situations. He counsels domestic and foreign business clients with diverse manufacturing and service operations and has handled a wide range of business sales and acquisitions.

Mr. Clancy has broad experience in the field of real estate development including major business ventures, resort developments and condominiums. He has also handled numerous commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Clancy has served as general counsel to a large New York based real estate investment company and handled numerous transactions on it's behalf throughout the United States and Canada involving major office buildings, shopping centers and apartment projects.

Mr. Clancy is a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations as well as the Bar Association of the Seventh Circuit, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Mr. Clancy received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
