Law Practice Rory Godinho practises securities law, encompassing representing junior issuers in corporate finance, natural resource, technology and corporate/commercial law. His clients include private and publicly traded companies in the technology, telecommunications, and natural resource (mining, oil and gas) sectors. In representing these clients, Mr. Godinho advises on a broad range of matters including initial public offerings, public and private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, reverse takeovers, corporate restructurings and reorganizations, and capital alterations, as well as continuous disclosure, corporate governance, directors' and officers' liability, proxy contexts, and takeover defense mechanisms. Professional and Other Activities Mr. Godinho has gained considerable experience in the venture capital market by virtue of being a director and officer of several listed companies, during which time he was responsible for financing such companies.
