| John joined Dunn Carney in 2001 and is a litigation partner specializing in commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on construction litigation. John's long standing representation of construction industry clients includes representation of owners, clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in cases ranging from residential lien claims to complex litigation on multi-million dollar construction projects. John has an extensive litigation background and has consistently obtained successful results at arbitration and trial. John is also a strong believer in alternative dispute resolution and has often achieved excellent results through the use of mediation in the early stages of litigation. On a personal level, John enjoys many outdoor and athletic pursuits, including golf, basketball, tennis, camping and running. While at the University of Michigan, John was a multi-year letter winner in track and cross country.
