| Background Ernie Hee was born, raised and educated in Edmonton, Alberta and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1977 and the Bar of British Columbia in 1991. Mr. Hee?s personal interests include playing baseball, golf and boxing. He has five children, three boys and two girls. Law Practice Mr. Hee's practice focuses on Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Commercial law. He has represented vendors, purchasers, landlords, tenants and lenders of retail, industrial, office and apartment projects located in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, California and Hawaii. Mr. Hee's clients include developers, pension funds, real estate investment trusts, limited partnerships, real estate syndicators, institutional entities, mortgage companies, banks and private individuals. He has also been involved in efficiently structuring large commercial transactions, joint venture agreements, corporate restructuring and has provided general commercial advice to businesses of all sizes. Ernie Hee also acts for European real estate investors. His family background and his working ability to speak German, assists him in representing German speaking clients. His family background in the real estate business also assists Mr. Hee in providing experienced legal advice in the real estate area. Mr. Hee's experience allows him to assist clients in structuring complete real estate transactions. His goal is to assist and advise the client in making the deal while ensuring that the client is fully aware of all the legal implications and obligations of the transaction.
