Michiel van Driel read Dutch Law at Utrecht University and also obtained a Masters degree (LL.M.) in European Law. He then joined the Council of State as a Attorney in the Administrative Law Division, specialising in spatial planning law. Michiel was admitted to the bar in 1998 when he joined Lexence to work in its Litigation and Real Estate sections. He specialises in spatial planning law, administrative law, construction law and real estate law, frequently publishing on these topics in professional magazines. Michiel sits on the Objection and Review Committee of the Amsterdam Oud-Zuid borough, and is a member of the Association of Construction Law Attorneys.
