Menno van Groningen

After graduating in Notarial Law at Amsterdam Free University, Menno van Groningen worked as a junior civil-law notary at a number of firms, including De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. He worked in Rotterdam for six years in the Real Estate section. In 1999, Menno decided to continue his work as a real estate advisor at Lexence. Sworn in as a civil-law notary in Amsterdam in 2000, Menno specialises in project development (often downtown) of commercial real estate, the redevelopment of city centres and shopping centres, complex divisions in apartment rights, issues regarding the ownership of integrated underground and above-ground construction, and investment activities. His expertise also includes issues regarding turnover tax and transfer tax with respect to both existing real estate and new development.
