François Giroux joined BCF in 2005 as a partner, after spending several years as a tax partner in another Montreal law firm. He graduated from the University of Montreal's law faculty in 1994.
Since his admission to the Barreau du Québec in 1995, François has practiced in the field of tax law, more particularly in corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, transfers of privately-owned or family businesses, and the taxation of financial products. His clientele consists mainly of entrepreneurs who do business in various economic fields, in Canada and in the United States.
Since 1998, François has presented several conferences on tax-related topics, including the transfer of businesses, in professional seminars and symposiums. |
