| Salvador Antonetti-ZequeiraShareholder Salvador Antonetti-Zequeira is a member of the litigation division at Fiddler González & Rodríguez, P.S.C. and serves on the Firm's executive committee. Mr. Antonetti is the author of various articles on distribution law published by the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and other legal publications, and has lectured at numerous seminars. He is very active in civic and professional affairs, serving on various boards, committees, and councils. He was a member of the Council of Higher Education of the University of Puerto Rico and a trustee for the law school. Mr. Antonetti has served as Reporter of the Advisory Group for the District of Puerto Rico under the Civil Justice Reform Act of 1990. Mr. Antonetti was lead trial counsel for the hotel in the mass tort litigation arising from the San Juan Dupont Plaza Hotel fire in 1986. Among the many reported cases he has tried or argued are Medina & Medina v. Country Pride, 858 F.2d 817 (1st Cir. 1987); Pritzker v.Yari, 42 F.3d 53 (1st Cir. 1994); Efron v. Embassy Suites 223 F.3d 12 (1st Cir. 2000); and In Re Atlantic Pipe Corporation 304 F.3d 135 (1st Cir. 2002). He is the author of articles on Puerto Rico's distributor's law including: "Puerto Rico's Dealer Act", Commercial Law Journal (1987); "The Measure of Damages under Law 75", UPR Law Review (1989); "A Different Opinion about Just Cause", UPR Law Review. In addition Mr. Antonetti prepares the chapter on Puerto Rico in Commercial Agencies & Distributorship: An International Guide (Prentice Hall) and International Agency and Distribution Agreements.Salvador Antonetti has acted as an arbitrator in proceedings under the Rules of the ICC Court of Arbitration, the Rules of the Interamerican Commission on Commercial Arbitration and the Commercial and the International Rules of the American Arbitration Association and is on the roster of mediators of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. He has represented parties in domestic and international arbitration as well as in mediation and early neutral evaluation.
