González-HernándezShareholder María Luisa González-Hernández is a member of the Corporate Department of Fiddler González & Rodríguez, P.S.C., and a member if its environmental practice group. Ms. González-Hernández served as Senior Scientist at the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board Air Quality Program, where she was director of the Complaint and Air Surveillance Division, director of the Air Quality Planning Division and assistant to the director of the Air Quality Bureau. She also served as an assistant to the Vice-President of the Environmental Quality Board for Air and Water Technical Affairs, and as a consultant to the agency on environmental issues. She is active in adjudicative and rulemaking proceedings before the Environmental Quality Board and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She has broad experience in matters pertaining to the Clean Air Act, Environmental Impact Statement Review Proceedings, Clean Water Act, Asbestos, Wetlands, Coastal Zone, Solid Waste, Superfund Issues, and Environmental Audits and Due Diligences. Ms. González-Hernández is a co-author of the Puerto Rico Environmental Law Handbook, published by Government Institutes, Inc. Bar Professional & Civic Affiliations: Puerto Rico Bar Association, Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association and its Environmental and Air Pollution Control Committees.
