Mr. Santiago?s practice concentrates in employee benefits and taxation matters. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. Mr. Santiago also advises clients on executive compensation arrangements and stock option plans. He has substantial experience in assisting employers before the PR Department of the Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor. Mr. Santiago also has significant experience and expertise in handling employee benefits matters in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Mr. Santiago's areas of practice further include federal and local taxation matters such as Puerto Rico income and payroll taxes. He has published several articles regarding employee benefits matters and has been a lecturer on employee benefits.
