| José A. Sosa-LlorénsPartner José A. Sosa Lloréns is a partner in the corporate division at Fiddler González & Rodríguez, P.S.C. He is also a member of the banking and securities law groups. Mr. Sosa-Lloréns has advised clients on banking regulatory matters related to mergers, corporate reorganizations, securities activities of banks and opined on securities offerings of banks, including tender offers and IPO's. He also has actively worked in the creation of investment companies, investment advisory firms and securities broker dealers in Puerto Rico. While at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Mr. Sosa-Lloréns was an Associate Director of the Law Review and published diverse articles on finance, banking and constitutional law. Mr. Sosa has been engaged as counsel in various international banking transactions of European and Latin American clients regarding business acquisitions, letters of credit, financings and corporate guaranties. Mr. Sosa also has academic background in international law, international banking, international business transactions and international taxation.
