| María Teresa Szendrey-RamosShareholder María Teresa Szendrey Ramos is a shareholder in the corporate division of Fiddler, González & Rodríguez where she works since 1994. Her areas of practice are intellectual property, trusts and estates, professional responsibility, administrative law and general corporate matters. Ms. Szendrey holds a bachelors degree in Sociology, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. In 1990 she obtained a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. After graduating from law school, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Federico Hernández Denton, who at present is Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. After her clerkship, Ms. Szendrey obtained a Masters in Law, concentrating in intellectual property, from Columbia University Law School in New York. She has served as counsel in major intellectual property litigations in Puerto Rico and has offered various seminars on copyrights and trademarks. In 2001 Ms. Szendrey was appointed to the Puerto Rico Trademark Act Reform Commission. She is a member of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico Board of Bar Examiners since 1998.
