| Daniel B. Fitzgerald, an associate in the Firm's Litigation Department, practices in the areas of litigation, insurance and media and entertainment law. Mr. Fitzgerald often represents insurance companies in bad faith and unfair trade practice actions, and professionals, such as attorneys, architects and engineers in malpractice actions. In addition, Mr. Fitzgerald has represented municipalities and private companies in complex litigation matters involving environmental contamination. Mr. Fitzgerald, Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association's Sports & Entertainment Law Section, provides counsel on entertainment law issues including management agreements, literary contracts and music licensing. He is also involved in sports law, and has provided insight into current legal issues in the sports arena on "The Talk of Connecticut" with Dan Lovallo, WDRC. Mr. Fitzgerald is a member of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Sports Council, Sports Lawyers Association and National Football Foundation. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, Connecticut and his B.A., cum laude in Politics from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
