  • Acting for banks and financiers on standstill arrangements and debt restructuring
  • Advising banks on legal and quasi-legal regulations on compliance, money lending, security, money laundering and connected transactions involving listed borrowers
  • Setting and reviewing forms and standard documents for banks and money lenders for use in Hong Kong and/or China
  • Charge of securities
  • Shareholders and joint venture agreements
  • Corporate co-operative agreements
  • Manufacturing agreements, distributorship agreements, franchising agreements, licensing agreements and other commercial and trading arrangements
  • Advising .com companies on legal agreements involving web-site design, development and maintenance, contents agreements, outsourcing agreements and agreement for sale of portals

  • Team leader of a special team formed to advise an international bank in its joint venture with a nation-wide bank established in Tianjin and review existing banking law in the PRC which may affect its practice in China and to advise other banks in relation to their cross-border businesses
