Professional experience : - Establishment and operation of joint ventures in Hong Kong and China, advising on corporate and business restructurings to prepare for IPOs in Hong Kong and overseas and related spin-offs and private placements
- Establishment and operation of joint ventures between university and industry in areas of scientific and technology research and development, the setting-up of start-up companies and other venture enterprises to exploit inventions from such research and developments
- Putting together consortiums for land development projects involving merger of sites, zoning changes, lease modifications and reprovisioning negotiations with the Government
- Heading a team of lawyers advising the Government on legal aspects of land, infra-structure, town planning, environment and construction related matter in its negotiations for a large scale theme park project in Lantau Island with a world renowned operator
- Negotiating and preparing documentation for syndicated lending and project lending involving various types of securities, local and foreign, and advising lenders on loan restructuring, standstill arrangements, liquidation and enforcement proceedings and compromises and settlement
