LLB - Rand Afrikaans University, South Africa Richard Auty has been involved in the follwing transactions: - The listing on the JSE of Eland Platinum Holdings Limited. The transaction value was in excess of ZAR800 million.
- A BEE transaction for PTH Africa (part of the Abland Group) where he advised on compliance with BEE, drafted all agreements and implemented the transaction.
- Sale of shares to the value of ZAR80 million of a large South African freight forwarding company to an international company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Part of the team appointed by the Department of Trade and Industry to undertake the third party review of the Construction Sector Transformation Charter and to gazette same as a sector code.
- Advised on BEE compliance and drafted the bid document for a BEE Consortium's tender to be the preferred BEE partner of a listed telecommunications company.
