| Michael J. Napoleone maintains a practice in commercial litigation with an emphasis on business torts, non-competition agreements, contractual disputes, fraudulent transfers, and entertainment law. Mr. Napoleone is also a skilled appellate lawyer who has argued appeals in both State and Federal Courts. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in criminology from the University of Florida in 1993, where he was a member of Florida Blue Key, Mr. Napoleone earned his Juris Doctor in 1997 from St. John's University College of Law in New York. At St. John's, he served as a director of its Civil Trial Institute and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and represented the school at national trial and appellate competitions. Mr. Napoleone is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Napoleone has the privilege to serve as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and served as the 2006-2007 chair of the the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Committee on Diversity and Gender Sensitivity. Mr. Napoleone presently serves as the chair of the PBCBA's 2008 Leadership Institute. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Florida Bar's Standing Committee on Professionalism and is currently the chair responsible for presenting the Masters Seminar on Professionalism at the Bar's annual meeting in June 2008. He previously served four years as an active member of the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Mr. Napoleone is admitted to practice in Florida and New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Napoleone has achieved an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating possible regarding legal ability and professional ethics. He was named to Florida Trend's 2005 Florida's Legal Elite as one of the best "up and coming" attorneys in the state, and was recently selected as a member of Madison's Who's Who of Executives and Professionals 2006 edition.
