Marcin is a specialist in foreign direct investment in Poland, infrastructure projects, transport, mergers and acquisitions, including advising private equity and venture capital funds. He heads a team part of whose brief is advising clients from Japan, China, Spain and Portugal. He joined the firm in 1995.- Advisor to many foreign investors on direct investments including those in special economic zones (greenfield-type projects and take-overs of existing enterprises) and advisor on joint ventures between domestic and foreign entities;
- Advisor on major projects involving state aid for restructured enterprises and financial support for new investments of strategic importance for the country;
- Advisor on private equity/venture capital fund transactions including MBO and LBO;
- Advisor on numerous mergers and acquisitions of enterprises carried out using different strategies;
- Co-ordinator in the restructuring of major holdings and capital groups;
- Advisor to some of entities in the transport sector in Poland, with a great deal of knowledge and experience of transport sector regulations, transport law and the subsidy system for transport companies;
- Participant in legislative work on legal regulations for the transport sector;
- Author of publications on the legal aspects of foreign investment in Poland and company law;
- Speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on foreign direct investment (FDI), PE/VC investment funds and issues related to the transport sector;
- Member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw and the Polish-Japanese Economic Committee in Warsaw.
