Hayley L. Butera

Hayley Butera's focus is in the areas of general health care law, fraud and abuse, Medicare billing and compliance, and transactional and litigation support.

 Ms. Butera was involved with the Drug Policy and Public Health Strategies Clinic at the University of Maryland, where her concentration was with the Baltimore City Detention Center in order to implement health care programs for detainees. Additionally, she earned and fulfilled a Judicial Internship for the Honorable Judge Michael T. Joyce of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania during the summer of 2002.

 While in law school, Ms. Butera was an intern with Johns Hopkins Health System Office of General Counsel. She was actively involved in the analysis and implementation of their Homeland Security protocols and HIPAA compliance program.
