Elizabeth G. Russell

A graduate of DePauw University and the Indiana University School of Law, Ms. Russell's concentration is primarily in employment, healthcare and commercial litigation in state and federal courts and employment counseling.  Ms. Russell is past Chairman of The Indianapolis Bar Association Litigation Section, Past President of The Indianapolis Law Club and Past President of the Sagamore American Inn of Court.  She has also served on the Board of Governors of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.  Ms. Russell is a member of the Kentucky Bar.  She practiced in Louisville, Kentucky for four years prior to joining the firm.

Ms. Russell's main area of practice is in Employment disputes in state and federal courts.  Ms. Russell is well versed in the Civil Rights Act of 1866, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Older Worker's Benefit Protection Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Indiana Wage Payment and Wage Claims Acts, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and various other state and federal laws and regulations imposed on employers.  Ms. Russell has represented a variety of clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, the United States and Indiana Departments of Labor, and the Indiana Worker's Compensation Board.  In addition to litigation, she advises clients as to risk management planning.
