To be accepted as a fellow, an applicant must pass a rigorous ethical screening and display expertise in the area of divorce, property settlement, post-nuptial agreements, child custody, parenting time, alimony, child support and related tax issues. Qualifications for membership requires that the fellow be recognized by the bench and bar in his or her jurisdiction as an expert practitioner in matrimonial law. In order to become a fellow, the practitioner must pass a stringent written examination on a wide range of issues pertaining to family law, both at the state and national level. Interviews by State Board of Examiners must be successfully completed as well as being passed upon by other prominent matrimonial lawyers in the state. Mr. Quinn successfully achieved those goals and has become recognized as a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
