Hoops Harrison practices civil litigation with a focus on corporate restructuring and insolvency related matters. He has conducted proceedings before the Alberta Provincial Court in both civil and criminal cases. He has also appeared as counsel before the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, the B.C. Supreme Court and the Alberta Court of Appeal.

He also has a special interest in private international law and has been a speaker and panelist on a number of related issues, including the media, post-secondary education and government policy.

Mr. Harrison previously practiced with an international law firm based in Calgary, during which time he had temporary postings in Moscow and with a multi-billion dollar North American company.
