A Fort Worth native and practicing attorney since 1971, Mr. Tracy is the author of numerous articles, and is a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the State Bar of Texas, law schools, and other entities. Mr. Tracy's experience and leadership in his field brings additional depth to Cantey & Hanger's highly regarded Taxation, Trust and Estates, Small Business Organizations Group. Mr. Tracy has worked for more than 20 years with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization which culminated in his appointment as chair of the Tax Law Advisory Commission for 1999-2000. Mr. Tracy is a former chair of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and he is listed in the trusts and estates section, and the tax section, of the Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Tracy became interested in computers during the late seventies. He enjoys listening to classical music in the evening while working on computer programming with the help of the family's Norwegian Forest Cat.
