Steven R. Brook

Mr. Brook has been practicing in the area of real estate and mortgage lending in San Antonio since 1980.  His real estate practice includes a broad range of representation of landlords and tenants in commercial leasing, and the buying and selling of retail, residential development, and farm and ranch property.  In the area of mortgage lending, Mr. Brook has represented, without indictment and with minimal scrutiny by the federal bureau of investigation, mortgage originators, savings and loans, and state and national banks.  Mr. Brook also has an active general transactional practice, including most aspects of business organizations, secured transactions and issues under the Uniform Commercial Code.  While Mr. Brook does not hesitate to use the Commercial Litigation facilities of the firm when necessary, he strongly believes that his clients are best served through properly structured agreements and reasonable negotiation of differences.  In all, Mr. Brook has over 30 years experience as a lawyer protecting commercial clients and facilitating transactions.  Mr. Brook has been the Firm's Managing Director since 1999.
