| Bar Admission Called to the Barreau du Québec, 2007 Lorraine joined BCF in July 2007 after having worked at an intellectual property boutique firm and at a multinational company in the investment and insurance sectors. She specializes in commercial issues and transactions involving intellectual property, including the negotiation and drafting of licence agreements and the preparation and conduct of due diligence of intellectual property assets. Her practice is also oriented towards the trade-marks sector, where she plays a role in the implementation of trade-marks protection strategies. She also specializes in entertainment law and regulatory matters. Lorraine is also involved in intellectual property-related litigation pertaining to various matters including trade-marks, copyrights, industrial designs, trade secrets, non-competition clauses and non-divulgation of confidential information. She was called to the Quebec Bar in February 2007 and plans on being called to the New York Bar in the spring of 2008. She also took part in a Chinese business law program offered by the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China, in 2004. |
