Candice Schultz specialises in the making of submissions on behalf of clients to ICASA, obtaining and amending of licences, structuring of networks and frequency plans in accordance with prevailing regulations, telecommunications service provision and related agreements, telecommunications and IT dealer channel structuring and agreements, general commercial, anti-trust, telecommunications litigation and general telecommunications regulatory advice.

She has been involved in the following transactions:

·         Acted for the Commercial Payphone Association against Cell C.

·         Obtained licenses and frequency spectrum on behalf of various listed and private companies.

·         Assisted in successfully opposing the merger of Telkom and BCX on behalf of Dimension Data.

·         Assisted in the least cost routing case where she acted on behalf of the cellular provider industry which legalised the use of cellular technology by corporate South Africa to reduce the cost in telephony.
