Bar Admission Vikki Andrighetti is a member of our civil and commercial litigation group and specializes in domestic and international dispute resolution. She is a graduate of McGill University's Faculty of Law, where she was awarded an entrance scholarship and graduated with distinction. She was also awarded the John E. Crankshaw Prize for criminal law and was a member of the team who finished first at the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition in Canada. After completing her articling, Vikki spent six months doing human rights work in Asia as an international election observer. Following her return to private practice, she developed a particular expertise in complex legal research and appellate advocacy. She has been involved in a number of matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, and was a member of the team of lawyers who successfully obtained recognition of the implied undertaking of confidentiality rule in Quebec in Lac d'amiante du Québec Ltée v. 2858-0702 Québec Inc., [2001] 2 S.C.R. 743. She regularly advises and represents clients in a wide range of civil and commercial matters before the trial and appellate courts of Quebec and before various domestic and international arbitral tribunals. Vikki is fluent in French and English. |
