| Law Practice Brian MacDonald's practise primarily focuses on constitutional, environmental, contract, employment and administrative law as they apply to issues affecting First Nations. Mr. MacDonald has extensive experience working with First Nation governments and organizations with respect to negotiating and implementing land claim and self-government agreements. He has advised clients on matters relating to drafting First Nation constitutions, environmental and resource management legislation, housing and land management policy, establishing and administering trusts and financial transfer agreements. He has worked with Aboriginal communities in the development of laws and policies that help to protect Aboriginal cultural and intellectual property.
