Charles H. Johnson, a board certified attorney in wills, trusts and estates, practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship and probate/guardianship litigation for the firm. He has been with the firm since 1981.

Mr. Johnson was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1974. In 1975, he was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. In 1977, he was admitted to the U.S. Tax Court. He received his Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1971 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1974.

He is a member of the American Bar Association (Past Chair of Study Committee on Law Reform; Past Chair, Committee on Administration and Distribution of Decedents Estates, of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section) as well as The Florida Bar. He is a member and past Director of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and a member and past Vice Co-Chair of the Probate and Guardianship Committee of the Dade County Bar Association.

Mr. Johnson is a member and past Chairman of the Military Affairs Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership Miami. He retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, having served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.

He is active within the community, having served on The Youth Recreation Advisory Board and The Code Enforcement Board of The City of Coral Gables and currently serving on the Cable Television Board.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Construction/Finance Steering Committee of St. Thomas Episcopal Parish in Coral Gables, Florida.  He is also a Board Member of the Eisenhart Concert Series, St. Thomas Episcopal Church and member of the Orange Bowl Committee.
