Jonathan Nicol

Jonathan Nicol is a member of the Commercial Practice Group. Mr. Nicol has been practicing law for ten years in the areas of consumer lending and credit, consumer collections, consumer bankruptcy, foreclosures and real estate. Mr. Nicol attended Shepherd College where he received his bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1981, and became a Certified Public Accountant in Washington, D.C., in 1984. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with his J.D. degree in 1989.

Mr. Nicol was admitted to practice law in West Virginia in 1989, and he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court in both the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Nicol is a frequent lecturer for banking groups, and teaches Law And Banking for the local chapter of the American Institute of Banking.
