Mr. Copler's practice focuses on tax planning for businesses and individuals, as well as planning for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Copler is a member of the Tennessee Bar, the Chattanooga Bar and the American Bar Association Tax Section. He is a former President of the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council. Before joining the firm, Mr. Copler was the partner in charge of the Chattanooga tax practice of Ernst & Young. He frequently speaks on tax developments to various professional organizations. Mr. Copler serves on the board of directors of the Cherokee Council of Boy Scouts of America and is vice-chairman of the Chattanooga Area Sports and Events Committee. He is a trustee for the MTSU Foundation and a Board member of the MTSU National Alumni Association.
