Shane joined the firm in 1993. Born in Williston, North Dakota and raised in Bainville, Montana, he attended The University of Montana (B.A., with high honors, 1990; J.D., with honors, 1993). Shane has a general practice emphasizing civil and commercial litigation, real estate, trademark and copyright law, corporate law and business formation. Shane has been active in a variety of community and civic organizations, including: serving as a Member (2000-03) of the Building Code Board of Appeals for the City of Missoula; serving as a substitute Justice of the Peace in Missoula County; as President (2000-01) of the Western Montana Bar Association; as the LM16 Chair (1998-99) of The Chamber's Leadership Missoula program; as President (1996-97) of New Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Montana; as President (1994-95) of Missoula New Lawyers Association. |
