Mr. McDonald received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina where he was a member of the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal and the Order of Wig and Robe. Prior to entering law school, Mr. McDonald worked as a project manager for several design/build construction firms in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. McDonald's practice includes all areas of construction law and litigation involving business torts and commercial disputes. Mr. McDonald is actively involved with several construction industry trade groups and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Construction Law Section of the South Carolina Bar. He is a frequent lecturer on legal issues related to the construction industry. Mr. McDonald is also involved in numerous community organizations and is an Elder of Shandon Presbyterian Church.
