Nelson Irvine practices in the areas of corporate and business transactions, partnerships and limited liability companies, estate and business planning, with a concentration on private and family owned business. He has been named in The Best Lawyers in America in corporate, mergers and acquisitions and securities law, and in Who's Who Legal USA:  Corporate Tax 2006.  He is author of various articles, published forms and regularly presents seminars. 

Mr. Irvine is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and served on drafting committees for both the Tennessee Nonprofit Corporation Act and the Tennessee Limited Liability Company Act. Nelson is also a member of the Committee on Partnerships and Unincorporated Business Organizations of the American Bar Association Section of Business Law.  He is also a Fellow of the American, Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Foundations, and he serves on the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga.
