Mark Cunningham is widely experienced in corporate health care matters and has worked closely with leading physician groups in Chattanooga, East Tennessee and North Georgia and has confronted a variety of health care issues which frequently confront physician practices. He has helped these clients analyze a variety of legal issues, including those relating to fraud and abuse, compliance, HIPAA, certificates of need, antitrust and licensure. In addition to his representation of physician practices, he advises medical practice management companies, optometrists, home health agencies, assisted care living facilities, hospices, and faculty practice plans. He has previously served as co-chair of the Meritas Health Law Section. Mr. Cunningham is also experienced in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He has represented both buyers and sellers in such transactions and has specific experience with asset purchase transactions, stock purchase transactions, mergers and joint ventures.
