Robert L. Bandy

Robert L. Bandy is a member of the firm's Commercial and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Mr. Bandy currently works in the firm's Charleston office where he is engaging in a commercial practice concentrating on commercial/consumer collections, including bankruptcy, and Real Property Law. Mr. Bandy has considerable experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in the Southern District of West Virginia. He has been a speaker for the National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services at several seminars on consumer lending and credit, consumer collections, consumer bankruptcy, foreclosures and real estate.

Mr. Bandy served as a member of the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1987, and then attended West Virginia State College where he graduated summa cum laude in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Communications. He graduated with a J.D. degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in May of 1997. He is currently licensed to practice in the State of West Virginia.

Additionally, Mr. Bandy has served as past president and secretary to the Elks Lions Club and is an Elder at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
