Denasha A. Scott is a shareholder with Cook & Franke. She practices in the areas of estate planning, taxation and corporate and business law. Ms. Scott has consulted with clients in all aspects of estate planning and marital property. She has advised clients in several areas of taxation including estate and gift taxes, non-profits, and general tax issues. Ms. Scott has advised corporations and non-profit organizations on various business and corporate issues, including contract drafting and negotiations, joint ventures, buying and selling businesses, and business planning. She has also consulted with clients regarding computer and internet contracts and license agreements. Ms. Scott is a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations. She is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Scott received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Beloit College. She received her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received the Daniel B. Grady Award for the Top Ranked Law Student in the Class of 1997. |
