| Mr. White's practice is primarily devoted to commercial and complex business litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, professional malpractice litigation, class actions and officer and director representation. Mr. White received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1980, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. In 1983, Mr. White obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, College of Law, where he was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Administrative Law. Mr. White was recently elected as President-Elect Designate of the Florida Bar for 2007. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Mr. White was elected by the lawyers of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit to the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar in 2000, and presently serves as a member of the Board of Governors. As a member of The Florida Bar, Mr. White served on the Judicial Administration Selection and Tenure Committee; and the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee, where he was appointed Chairperson for the 1996 -1997 term by The Florida Bar President. Additionally, he served as a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Grievance Committee, Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Fee Dispute Committee, and the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Professionalism Committee. As a member of the Board of Governors, Mr. White serves or has previously served on the Executive Committee, the Budget Committee, Chair of the Judicial Qualifications Commission Screening Committee, Judicial Nominating Commission Screening Committee for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, 15th Judicial Circuit, 17th Judicial Circuit, and 19th Judicial Circuit, Program Evaluation Committee, Chair of the Investment Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Disciplinary Procedure Committee, Client Security Fund Reviewer and Designated Reviewer for Bar Grievance Committees, as well as Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on Judicial Independence, Florida Bar Strategic Planning Committee, and Citizens Access to Legal Systems Committee. Mr. White has also served as Co-Chair of the Disciplinary Review Committee and as liaison to the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee, as well as the Judicial Administration Selection and Tenure Committee. Mr. White served in every elected position of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and was President of the Young Lawyers Section as well as President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association for the 1997-1998 term. While a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Mr. White also served on the Circuit Civil Court Advisory Committee; the Judicial Relations Committee, of which he was Chairperson from 1996-1997 and 2002-2003; and the Liberty Bell Award Committee. Mr. White is admitted to the Supreme Court of Florida, the U.S. District Court - Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. White has achieved an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating possible regarding legal ability and professional ethics, and Register of Preeminent Attorneys. He has also been selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America by fellow attorneys through exhaustive and vigorous peer review surveys. Mr. White has additionally been selected as a 2006 Florida Super Lawyer in the area of business litigation. This distinction is only achieved by the top five percent of Florida attorneys in their respective areas of practice as chosen by their peers and the independent research committee on law and politics.
