Reinhard Brunar is an expert on real estate law who has accompanied numerous projects involving private residences as well as large housing and industrial developments quite literally from the drawing board to finish; including but not limited to the drafting of the contracts, escrow, entries in the ground register, ground tax declarations and other fees and condominium agreements. He has, for example recently concluded a commercial development project with multiple apartment units in an exclusive Viennese neighbourhood as well as the remodeling and subsequent exploitation of an industrial site. He also focuses on all types of leaseholds including lease contracts and landlord tenant law.

Both in general and with regards to real property he also advises on questions of estate planning and handles probate matters on a regular basis, in particular the representation of international clients in Austrian probate proceedings.

Reinhard Brunar's practice also centres around intellectual property law, in particular the protection of domestic and international trademarks, copyrights and patents in such diverse industries as construction materials, textile products, food and beverages and telecommunication as well as the registration and protection of internet domain names.

In addition, Reinhard Brunar practices in the field of antitrust and trade regulations, particularly unfair competition law. Most recently he has advised an internationally financed hotel resort project regarding joint advertisement with a supplier of services and has counseled a producer of safe deposit boxes on their distribution, marketing and sales measures.

Another part of Reinhard Brunar's practice is of course also general and business litigation including complex litigation and he has litigated multi-million Euro lawsuits involving i.e. a major international electronics concern.
