Ron practices in the areas of Corporate and Commercial, and Family Business Law. In his 27 years of practice, he has handled numerous sophisticated transactions at local, national and international levels including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, commercial leasing and general commercial transactions. Ron's extensive community involvement over the years includes serving as a Board member for the UIA Federations Canada and JCC Association of North America. He currently serves as the Chair of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa. Ron works collaboratively with his clients and with the other parties to a transaction to get the deal done. Different problems require different skills--at times, there is a complex legal problem that requires an innovative solution. At other times, difficult inter-personal relationships between the parties require someone who understands people and how to bring them together. Ron's people skills, pursuit of excellence, thoroughness, and understanding of what it takes to put together a transaction are what set him apart.
