Fred is a founding partner of BrazeauSeller. LLP and is a legal strategist, who has handled a number of high profile matters. Fred's areas of practice include Corporate and Commercial Law, Financing, Commercial Litigation, Mortgage Remedies, Creditor and Debtor Law, Bankruptcy and Insolvency and Real Estate Law. Fred is also a registered Trade-mark Agent. Fred has handled transactional matters involving acquisitions and sales of a variety of businesses as well as the acquisition, sale and refinancing of large commercial real estate properties. With respect to litigation matters, Fred has handled a variety of business separations, buy-outs and liquidations. Fred regularly counsels corporations, their shareholders and their directors with respect to their operations and structure. He also provides guidance with respect to individual liability and tax consequences. In addition to his work at various charities, Fred currently sits on the cabinet of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, he is a past Co-Chair of the 2005 and 2006 Ottawa Citizen-Ottawa Jewish Federation Golf Tournament (which in 2006 raised more money than any other golf tournament in the National Capital Region) and he is a past chair of the United Jewish Appeal, Legal Division. In the spring of 2000, Fred was designated by the Ottawa Business Journal as one of the top 40 entrepreneurs under the age of 40 in the National Capital Region. Fred has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from McGill University in Montreal and a law degree from the University of Ottawa. Fred has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1988. Fred is married to Stacey, his high school sweetheart, and together they have three daughters. |
