Mr. Doby is the son of a local attorney. The younger Mr. Doby grew up in Fort Worth but was educated at Vanderbilt and Southern Methodist in Dallas. He arrived at Cantey & Hanger in 1991, shortly after graduating from law school at S.M.U. He was recently promoted to partner.
