Jim has assisted several businesses in restructuring their loans and other indebtedness with various creditors, in order to assist these clients in reorganizing their business affairs, both within and outside of bankruptcy proceedings. These endeavors have included the restructuring of large bank and real estate loans. Jim?s clients have included large real estate concerns, manufacturing companies, and nursing home operations. In addition, Jim has also represented large creditors, including lending institutions, in significant workouts and restructurings with various borrowers. He has been a guest lecturer on commercial law and bankruptcy issues at seminars conducted by the University of Louisville and the Louisville Bar Association.
